Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and systems

- Conduct inspections to identify issues or potential problems and address them in a timely manner

- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants, prioritizing tasks based on urgency

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems

- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using welding or other appropriate techniques

- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors when necessary

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

- Provide excellent customer service to staff, tenants, and visitors

Experience:

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems

- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting

- Welding experience is highly desirable

- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred

- Excellent customer service skills

- Able to complete duties with little supervision.
